Honor introduced its new mid-budget smartphone Honor X8b in Saudi Arabia. In this respect reports Gizchina edition.
The device is an updated version of the smartphone Honor X8, which was announced in March this year. Honor X8b has a number of improvements over the previous model, including an AMOLED display, improved cameras and other features.
Honor X8b measures 161.05 x 74.55 x 6.78 mm and weighs 166 grams. It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 2000 nits peak brightness. The device runs Android 14 with Magic OS 7.2 shell that supports the Magic Capsule notification feature. Magic Capsule is an analogue of the Dynamic Island option on the latest generation iPhones, the feature of which is an oval cutout on the screen.
On the back of the device, there is a 108-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there is a 50 megapixel front camera.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 4,500mAh battery that supports up to 35W fast charging. The smartphone comes in various configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The Honor X8b also has dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0G, GPS, USB-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone can already be purchased in Saudi Arabia at a price of about $ 240 (about 21.7 thousand rubles at the exchange rate of December 17, 2023).
