Russian video game developer Battlestate Games (BSG) announced that closed beta testing of the competitive Arena mode of its online first-person action game Escape From Tarkov launched on December 17. The trailer for the upcoming beta test of Escape From Tarkov Arena has been released on official YouTube.channel BSG.
Only a certain number of players will receive invitations to participate in the test.
As reported by BSG, Escape From Tarkov Arena will exist separately from the main game and will essentially feature team battles on separate maps. In this respect, Arena will get closer to Call of Duty and other e-sports disciplines while preserving the shooting mechanics of the original version.
