Russian mobile operator Beeline is preparing to launch a new product – a service to protect against DDoS attacks. In this respect reports TASS cited the words of Renat Nasretdinov, Beeline’s Vice President for Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions.
According to Nasretdinov, the new product of the Russian company will be similar in its features to a similar service from foreign Cloudflare, but will also receive a number of useful innovations. Which ones are not fully specified.
Nasretdinov said Beeline is currently negotiating expertise with various Russian vendors in the field of information security. The full rollout of Beeline’s anti-DDoS service is planned for 2024.
The company has already taken the first steps towards realizing this idea. For example, the operator recently acquired the company CDNvideo, which is engaged in traffic logistics and provides fast data transmission over long distances.
According to Nasretdinov, information security products are now in great demand in Russia.
Russians before warned about the increase in prices for mobile communications from the new year.
