Apple has sharply increased the cost of the maximum tariff for iCloud cloud storage in Russia. In this respect reports Hi-Tech Mail.Ru publication.
Apple offers four iCloud plans of 200GB, 2TB, 6TB and 12TB. All of them previously cost 149, 599, 3,490 and 6,990 rubles. per month accordingly. Recently the cost of a 12 TB subscription has risen sharply to 16,990 RUB. monthly.
“It is unclear where the additional unit on the price tag comes from. “Either Apple really increased the cost of the cloud, but did not have time to update the data on the site, or this is another iOS 17 bug,” suggested Hi-Tech Mail.Ru editors.
Journalists also noticed on the Apple website that iCloud prices in Russia remain the same, the 12 TB tariff still costs 6,990 rubles. So, the version about the iOS 17 bug is inherently reasonable to increase the maximum tariff cost.
iCloud is a cloud storage service launched by Apple in 2011. It runs on iCloud, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services servers.
