The first spy photo of Nothing’s affordable smartphone with a transparent body has been published on the internet. In this respect reports Wccftech post cites insider Sanju Choudhary from X (Twitter).
According to Sanju Choudhary, the new product is coded AIN142. At launch, the device will be renamed Nothing Phone 2a. The phone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an “o”-shaped cutout for the front camera. The design of the rear panel follows the “Nothing design language”.
“The rear panel could easily be confused with the panel used on the Nothing Phone 2, but the Nothing Phone 2a features a smaller set of signal LEDs. This decision makes sense in the context of positioning the Nothing Phone 2a as an affordable device,” writes Wccftech.
It has not been announced when the new product will be officially introduced. However, an insider claims to have seen the smartphone in person. This most likely indicates that the presentation of Nothing Phone 2a will take place quite soon.
