A survey conducted by Sferum found that the most popular functions of messengers among teachers are creating surveys and sending large files.
The results showed that the most popular functions for teachers were creating surveys (42%), separating personal and business correspondence (30%), sending large files (22.5%), voice message (21%), and video message (15%). Teachers also use the ability to pin messages (11%), convert them to text (7.5%), create channels (6%) and folders (5%).
The majority of teachers (96%) use instant messengers for business communication on a daily basis. At the same time, 34% of teachers have more than 10 business conversations, 35% have 5 to 10 business conversations, and 31% have less than 5 business conversations.
Among the non-standard functions that teachers wanted to add to messengers, participants noted the function of checking and grading homework directly in chats and the ability to use messengers without the Internet.
