Russian counterpart of Lastochka electric trains successfully passed the conformity test of the interdepartmental commission and received certification RIA News Regarding the train manufacturer – JSC Sinara – Transport Machines (STM).

“We are pleased to announce that we have received certification for a new electric train! According to the company, the new electric train ES104 is a similar train called “Lastochka”, consisting entirely of Russian components. It has five wagons with 416 seats. The seats in the cabin are arranged in threes and twos in a row.

The company emphasized that Ural Locomotive experts have done great work, but they still have many tasks ahead of them.

“Thus, by the end of this year, the plant will transfer 12 five-car trains to the Sverdlovsk Railway,” STM said.
