Apple will introduce the next generation iPad mini in the fall of 2024. The portal reports this MacRumors.
Apple plans to begin mass production of the seventh-generation iPad mini in the second half of 2024, indicating that it plans to launch the tablet before July. Journalists believe that the presentation of the next iPad mini will take place in September or October next year, given that the company does not release its devices in the summer.
Experts believe that the updated iPad mini will receive the Apple A16 Bionic chip used in the iPhone 14 Pro and basic iPhone 15 smartphones. It is also expected that the tablet will be equipped with new cameras, but details have not yet been announced. It is also stated that the tablet supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C.
The current sixth-generation iPad mini is available in four colors: space gray, glowing star, pink, and purple. The 2024 version will have new color options.
The most significant change to the iPad mini is the new display design, which will allow Apple to solve the so-called “jelly effect” where the two halves of the screen get out of sync.
