Employees of Ruselectronics holding have developed a new complex for suppressing drones called “Chistyulya”. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the state company.
The material states that the new device is portable and consists of a small case. In addition, the publication emphasizes that its weight does not exceed eight kilograms.
One of the features of “Chistyulya” is the possibility of remote control. In this way, the warplane assigned to use the device will be able to avoid the negative effects of radiation and missiles.
According to the agency, the range of the complex reaches one kilometer. Drones located at a certain distance from the device remain suspended in the air or fall to the ground.
Additionally, the device is capable of forcing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to return to their original points. The effect of this complex on drones varies depending on their type.
The press service also explained that the device can be used to block the transmission of photos and videos from drones. In this regard, he is helped by three types of antennas, which are necessary for individual control of frequencies.
“Chistulya” can work offline for up to 100 minutes. “The device is equipped with an active cooling system that ensures its uninterrupted operation,” added representatives of the holding.
