Telegram traffic among kids increased by 89% during the year. WhatsApp ranked second with a 45% increase. VK closed the top three with 41%. YouTube also stood out in this regard; traffic increased by 26%. But the volume of TikTok data remained virtually unchanged throughout the year.
Overall, kids are spending 26% more on mobile Internet compared to 2022, but their preferences have changed. Nearly a third of traffic still goes to watching videos (32%), but a year ago it was 1.3% higher. Now children spend almost the same amount on messengers, whose share has increased more than one and a half times to 30%.
The top three in internet consumption are closed by music services (15%), with an annual loss of 5%. Games and social networks, which also occupy fourth and fifth places in the ranking, currently consume 9% and 7%, respectively, of mobile traffic for subscribers under 14 years of age.
