PlayStation users are given a free subscription to Apple services

Sony and Apple announced the launch of a joint promotion under which PlayStation console owners can get free access to the Apple TV+ online cinema and the Apple Music music service for six months. The portal reports this 9to5Mac.

You can use your three-month gift subscription to Apple TV+ until January 31, 2024. New online cinema customers who own PlayStation 4 and 5 will be able to benefit from the campaign.

The Apple Music promotion will run until November 15, 2024 and will only be open to PlayStation 5 owners. New customers of the music service will have six months of free usage, and existing subscribers will have five months of free usage.

To activate gift subscriptions, you need to install the Apple TV+ or Apple Music apps on your console, launch them, and sign in to your Apple ID account. If you don’t have an Apple ID account, you can create one during the registration process.

At the same time, Russia is not among the countries participating in the promotions, so players who want to get a free subscription to Apple services will need to obtain an account in the appropriate regions.
