In total, at least 35 Samsung models will receive Android 14. The first wave devices (Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra) received the update on October 30, 2023. Moreover, the latest version of Android has already appeared on almost all smartphones of the second wave (Galaxy A14 5G, A34, A54, S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra, Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5) on November 13 and 15. The only model from the second wave that does not receive an update is the Galaxy S23 FE; The firmware will be released on November 20.
The third wave series will include Galaxy A13 5G, A33 5G, A52, A52s, A72, S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra, S21 FE, Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. All of these devices will be updated to Android 14 starting. 20 – 30 November.
The fourth wave will include devices such as Galaxy A13, A14, A23 5G, A24 5G, Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3. Dates are 27 November – 1 December. The fifth wave will include Galaxy A04s only (December 4). The sixth is Galaxy XCover 5 (December 8).
Additionally, Galaxy A14 5G, A14, A52 5G, A05s smartphones and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet also need to be updated to Android 14. Firmware release dates are unknown.
