Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla and head of X (Twitter), has published samples of the first work of the Grok chatbot, which is positioned as a rival to ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence. In this respect reports The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) refers to the billionaire’s messages in X.

Grok is a chatbot and generative artificial intelligence developed by Elon Musk’s startup xAI. Grok differs from ChatGPT and other similar services in that it is “educated” on content from the X social network. At the same time, the Grok database is updated in real time due to the appearance of new content on X.

“Grok accesses content in real time via social network X. This is a huge advantage over other neural networks,” Musk wrote.

From the billionaire’s words, it also appears that the neural network’s language model focuses on sarcasm and enjoys making sarcastic comments. Musk admitted that he did not know who gave this “character” feature to the neural network.

As an example of how Grok works, the billionaire posted a screenshot of his correspondence with the bot. Musk asked the bot to talk about Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of crypto exchange FTX, who was recently convicted of cryptocurrency fraud. The neural network described this event as “painful” and noted that a possible 110-year prison sentence was sufficient to assess the consequences of one’s actions.

Previously Elon Musk offered Mark Zuckerberg needs a new name for Facebook (the owner of the company Meta is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
