The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has released the Spot the Station mobile application, which allows users to quickly find the International Space Station (ISS) in the sky from Earth. In this respect reports edition 9to5Mac.

The application has augmented reality functions. Spot the Station is designed to scan the sky using your camera’s viewfinder. If the ISS is included in the frame, a mark will appear on the screen.

The ISS is best visible in the early morning or evening hours, when the sun has not yet risen or has just set and the star’s light is still reflected from the orbital station. Spot the Station is only open during these minutes. After detecting the ISS, the program will show how high the orbital station is above the user and in what direction it is moving.

In the app, you can set up notifications to alert users when the ISP approaches their location.

During periods when Spot the Station does not have full functionality, a globe with a map of ISS movement is displayed on the utility’s home page. You can also find a timer that counts down the time until the spacecraft passes over the user.

Spot the Station is available for download on both iOS and Android.

Previously Google reported He said that the Chrome browser will soon stop working on millions of smartphones.
