According to parliamentarians, citizens and people who ensure the security of the state need reliable protection. Therefore, the Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption approved the positive outcome on the bill introducing a special procedure for the processing of personal data. The MP emphasized that changes are planned in 11 federal laws in this context.

Piskarev noted that the innovations will affect the protection of personal data of employees of federal institutions in the field of defense, security, state security, internal affairs and foreign intelligence agencies against criminal attacks. He emphasized that Western and Ukrainian intelligence services are trying to obtain such information by all means for blackmail and other illegal actions against military personnel, law enforcement officers and their family members.
In this context, the government will receive powers regarding the maintenance of information systems and approval of the procedure for accessing them.
