Roskomnadzor banned search engines from displaying information about the sites of a number of foreign hosting providers, including Amazon Web Services. This has been reported Web site regulator

Roskomnadzor emphasized that this decision was taken with the aim of imposing a ban on the search results of information about the sites of some foreign providers due to their failure to fulfill their obligations under the law on “landing”.

The websites of 11 companies were banned: Hetzner Online GmbH, Network Solutions, LLC, WPEngine, Inc., HostGator.com, LLC, Ionos Inc., DreamHost, LLC, Amazon Web Services, Inc., GoDaddy.com LLC, Bluehost Inc. ., Kamatera Inc., DigitalOcean, LLC.

Before that it was known that Roskomnadzor open Go Travel Un Limited, the owner of the Aviasales service, has been added to the list of foreign companies subject to landing in the Russian Federation.

In June, Roskomnadzor included 12 more foreign hosting providers in the list of foreign companies subject to “landing”.
