The share of domestic IT product manufacturers in Russia has doubled and exceeded the 50% mark. In some niches, manufacturers from Russia have even squeezed Chinese sellers in the market. In this respect reports TASS reports an interview with the Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
“Our market did not collapse, and at the same time the share of Russian manufacturers doubled and exceeded 50 percent, even replacing the Chinese in some niches,” Shadayev said.
The minister also did not specify what kind of products he was talking about. Also not specified are the niches in which Russian companies surpass Chinese brands in volume.
It is believed that the volume of the domestic software market will exceed 300 billion rubles by 2030. This assessment was made by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko shortly before the interview with the head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
