Whiskey with the “taste” of the Dota 2 game was presented

Scotch whiskey brand Ballantine’s has launched a range of bottles themed after the popular online game Dota 2 in China. reports Esports Insider (ESI) publication.

The design of the new Ballantine series was created in collaboration with game developer and publisher Valve. In total, there are two versions of the labels depicting different groups of Dota 2 characters. The release of the limited bottles is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of Valve’s online project.

ESI writes that Ballantine’s brand will not be limited to just bottles. The company will soon release a short film on its website, the plot of which tells about the adventures of Dota 2 heroes who went in search of whiskey.

“Dota 2 is a world-famous game that has a particularly strong influence in the Chinese gaming community. We were delighted to do something special for him in this important year for the game,” said Mathieu Deslandes, global marketing director at Chivas Brothers (owner of the Ballantine brand – editor’s note).
