According to him, the State Commission on Radio Frequencies (SCRF) approved a plan for the future use of radio electronic equipment (RES).
“There are several milestones on the open side of this: 2025 – termination of fixed wireless access (to the Internet) in major cities, 2027 – closure of 3G networks,” Tur said.
Previously, in the draft strategy for the development of the communication sector until 2035 it was said The use of 3G technology is planned to be completed in the 2023-2030 period.
