The list of devices sold in its showrooms shows that Android U will be released on October 4, 2023 on all Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 4a model. Android U is the shortened name of the 14th version of the Google operating system and is literally written as Android Upside Down Cake.
GSMArena writes that the mention of the release date of Android 14 disappeared shortly after the publication of the operator’s documents. Journalists claim that Google discovered the leak and asked Telus to remove the information.
Judging by the beta versions that will be released starting from March 2023, Android 14 will undergo many cosmetic changes. For example, it will be possible to create wallpaper from emojis, a more informative battery widget and quick access to system font settings.
