Apple will equip the new iPad Pro tablets with OLED displays and a record amount of internal memory. Citing Revegnus, an insider on this informs WCCFTech portal.
“Sources say next year will have a 4TB version of the OLED iPad Pro. Do you really need that much storage space?” wrote an insider on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
According to rumors, the new generation iPad Pro will have OLED displays and new 3 nanometer Apple M3 chips, which will also be used in the company’s computers. But given the limited capabilities of iPadOS compared to a full-fledged macOS operating system for computers, not many users see the use of such powerful hardware in a tablet.
But in 2023, the Final Cut Pro video editor and Logic Pro music editor were released for the iPad, which are not much different from the stable PC versions. For professional editing that requires heavy, high-resolution images, the iPad’s built-in storage expansion can be a welcome change for some users. It is also possible that the company will continue to release full-fledged programs for its tablets, which are currently only available on PC.
The cost of the new generation iPad Pro has not yet been announced. The current iPad Pro M2 models with 11-inch and 12.9-inch displays are priced at $1.9 and $2.2k, respectively, in the maximum modification with 2TB of memory.
