In the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, the interface of the “Settings” section has been updated and the ability to use multiple accounts on a single device has been added. In this respect informs WABetaInfo portal.
The most important innovation that has appeared in Messenger is the function of switching between accounts, which allows users to register and use an additional account on a single device. Previously, users had to clone WhatsApp or download third-party apps for additional accounts.
It is stated that users can only add one additional account. It is possible that the number of accounts will increase in the future.
The second and no less important update brought the “Settings” section to almost the same style as the iOS version of WhatsApp. Now this menu on Android is divided into tiles and subsection lists like on the iPhone.
The multi-account feature, along with the new interface in the app settings, has been made available to a large number of testers who have installed WhatsApp beta version 2.23.18.21 for Android. It is not known when the innovations will appear in users with stable builds of Messenger.
Previously developers WhatsApp has released a new app for macOS.
