Office workers are the most suitable employee category for AI to replace. This is stated in the new statement reportIt was published on the official website of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
According to research, about 25% of office workers’ tasks can be completely taken over by productive AI. AI can partially cope with half of the tasks. In this context, managers are less threatened by neural networks – they can only partially fulfill a quarter of their tasks.
The ILO believes that the impact of artificial intelligence on the employment of office workers will most likely be expressed not in the elimination of jobs, but in their transformation. Labor intensity is likely to decrease, but at the same time workers’ autonomy will increase.
The study also found that only 5.5% of jobs in developed, high-income countries are potentially impacted by AI. In low-income countries, this figure is 0.4%.
