Students from Tambov develop a new drone suppression system

Students from Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) have developed a system that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to suppress small drones. It has been reported TASS with reference to the scientific supervisor of the project, associate professor of the Radioelectronics and Microprocessor Systems Design Department, TSTU Oleg Belousov.

“Acceleration programs have been implemented at the university and, taking into account the current geopolitical situation, we decided to launch a system for installing spatial barriers for UAVs,” said Belousov.

He added that four undergraduate, three undergraduate and one graduate students were involved in the development. The system has achieved technological advantages over its counterparts. It is based on a radio platform that allows you to work in a wide frequency range with minimal reconfiguration of the system itself.
