Yandex to move yandex.kz servers to Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aviation Industry stated that the server transfer decision was taken within the scope of ensuring information security and protecting personal data.

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Digital Development noted that in the last four years, about 30,000 Internet resources have been transferred to Kazakhstan’s servers.
