Users of the social network Instagram (the owner of the Meta company is recognized and banned in Russia as an extremist) has largely complained about an error in the application when saving stories. It has been reported 9to5Mac.
As a result of the functionality not working properly, an attempt to save a story on Instagram led to the overscaling of the video thread.
As reported by several users, the bug has been fixed in the latest version of the Instagram app for iPhone. In this version, the scaling function does not work properly when saving stories.
Typically, users can swipe up while holding down the record button to zoom in and swipe down to zoom out. The error relates to the fact that slightly scrolling up causes the scale to instantly increase to the maximum level quickly.
9to5Mac explained that the bug is active on several iPhone models running iOS 16 and iOS 17 beta. According to them, users can zoom more smoothly by using the pinch gesture instead of swiping up. It is expected that Meta (known as extremist and banned in Russia) will soon release a new version of the app that will fix the bug in stories.
Previously on Instagram announced the reason for the automatic deletion of the account.
