The new iPhone 15 Pro will be 30% more powerful than its predecessor

Looking at the image, the new Apple A17 chipset in the iPhone 15 Pro scored 3269 and 7666 points in the single-core and multi-core processor tests, respectively. In the metal graphics test, the smartphone scored 30669 points. This is 30%, 20% and 37% more than the previous generation iPhone 14 Pro with the Apple A16 Bionic chipset. In addition, the new chip outperforms the expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 by 47% and 15% in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

How accurate these results are is unknown. According to the Rozetked portal, the test data is not saved in the Geekbench database, making it impossible to confirm the test results.

In mid-August, authorized insider Unknownz21 published the specifications of the iPhone 15 Pro and Apple A17 chip, which will receive six cores with a frequency of up to 3.7 GHz, six graphics cores and 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. According to the leak, the chipset will be manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process.
