A ban on the use of the so-called “gold band” communication for 5G networks will be written in the strategy for the development of the telecom industry by 2035. This was expressed by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadayev. TASS.
“Clearly, the draft strategy will impose a ban on the use of the ‘golden range’,” he said.
Shadayev added that other bands remain for the 5G communication format, for example 4400-4990 MHz.
On June 29, Kommersant newspaper, referring to the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, wrote in Russia: will appear A single 5G radio frequency operator with access to the “gold band” of 3.4-3.8 GHz frequencies.
