Demonstrated at the CIPR-2023 conference in June, developer Yadro’s Kvadra-T tablet will go on sale in the fall of 2023. This was announced on the sidelines of the Vedomosti conference by Dmitry Cherkasov, CEO of Kernel Client Systems (part of the Yadro group of companies). TASS.
“In the autumn, the tablet will be available to the end user. If you pre-order now, we will deliver it to you in the last package in the fall, and it will take its place on the store shelves.”
Cherkasov could not explain to reporters in which electronics stores the tablet will be available for sale. According to him, negotiations are currently underway with various Russian retailers.
The company’s president added that he was “pleasantly surprised” by the initial numbers for pre-orders. However, the CEO did not specify the exact number of devices leaving.
“It’s clear that we still haven’t reached Apple and Samsung in terms of pre-orders, so we took a little more time to ourselves for that,” said Cherkasov.
When asked if Yadro plans to develop his own smartphone, Cherkasov replied that it is “an inevitable step towards a full-fledged device and software ecosystem.”
