OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone, the V Fold, will have a built-in 7.6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In this respect informs The Verge’s edition cites an insider onLeaks.
Thus, V Fold will own one of the largest screens in the smartphone market. For comparison: the diagonal of the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s internal screen is 7.6 inches, which is the same as the new Google Pixel Fold. The Verge writes that currently only the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 has a larger screen than the OnePlus novelty – it uses an eight-inch matrix.
The diagonal of the external OLED display V Fold is 6.3 inches. It will get a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2K.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 16 GB of RAM will be responsible for the performance in the new OnePlus. 256GB is reserved for storing user data. The battery is claimed to be 4800 mAh and supports fast charging up to 67 watts.
OnePlus V Fold will get five cameras. Three of them will be located on the back of the device. Another is in the cross-section of the outer screen and the remaining one-fifth is in the cross-section of the inner screen.
According to the latest rumors, OnePlus will introduce the V Fold in August 2023, shortly after the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5.
