“The system is currently being installed on the Sukhoi Superjet and MS-21. Four systems have already been shipped to Sukhoi Superjet. Two of these are now being installed on the plane. In August of this year, we should deliver four SPVs to the MS-21 manufacturer,” Chanushkin said.
He added that prior to flight tests, SPVS will be tested on the “electronic bird,” a semi-natural test complex for testing and integrating onboard equipment that allows you to ensure that the system interfaces with other aircraft devices. place.
SPSS warns the aircraft by giving a signal to the autopilot to avoid a collision. The system is capable of observing the weather in passive mode and has an active antenna that transmits information about its location to other aircraft.
