Users have been complaining about the latest Windows 11 cumulative update released on Tuesday that caused numerous system issues. In this respect informs Windows Latest Portal.
Windows 11 cumulative update KB5026372 was intended to improve system performance, but many encountered VPN disconnections, especially L2TP/IPsec VPN. Some users noticed a significant slowdown in download and upload speeds, while others had difficulty downloading files from sftp over L2TP/IPsec VPN. At the same time, reinstalling WAN, flushing DNS, disabling IPv6 and firewall will not help solve the problem.
The update also reportedly enabled BitLocker Drive Encryption, causing some users’ computers to go into an “endless” automatic repair loop. Only a complete cleaning of the system and reinstalling Windows can help resolve this issue.
Several other users are reported to have encountered problems with the computer shutting down instead of restarting after installing the updates.
Microsoft has yet to acknowledge the problem. Users encountering the above issues are recommended to uninstall update KB5026372 by reverting to the previous version.
