We live in a changing environment that forces us to constantly rethink our business models. Addressing a digitization process goes beyond implementing a much more powerful technology, storing data in the cloud, digitizing documents or acquiring an ERP, we are talking about a cultural shift, a change in the rules of the game, an evolutionary process where new technologies are integrated. ensures the optimization of processes in all areas of the company and to gain competitiveness.

The ‘Generation Digital SMEs’ program is an initiative funded by the EU (NextGenerationEU) and managed by the EOI Foundation, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through the General Secretariat for Industry and SMEs.

This program is aimed at the manager profile of SMEs between 10 and 249 employees, with a maximum of two people per company.

The alliance between these four institutions made it possible to produce a transformative project focused on the needs of SMEs, in which each institution contributes to the program with a complementary vision. UCAM brings experience, accreditation and rigor. Verne Academy and Tecon, their technological expertise applicable to the real needs of the company, and Aquora, their experience in executive education.

The aim is to train highly qualified professionals within the organization, free of charge, in the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the management of their company’s digital transformation project, increase productivity and opportunities for growth and internationalization, as well as reduce the digital gap for the digital sector. To increase the number of women who are familiar with the digital environment of SMEs.

The improvement proposal for SME managers includes trying to turn knowledge into action and applying it in a way that works with real transfer methodology, as well as completing the “Digital Transformation Plan” developed by all students during the program. specific problems of each of the participants.

This project aims to be the driving force of change by addressing a change model that provides competitive advantage not only in terms of technology but also to participating companies.

In addition to the itinerary defined in the EOI proposal, the participating institutions proposed a number of improvements to increase the potential of the project through a psychometric assessment, an initial diagnosis and strategic reflection that allows us to have and identify performance indicators. potential characteristics of people involved in the project with greater credibility. In addition, elements such as Change Management, Learnability and Employee Experience are included in the training plan that completes the first program. Participants will receive individualized mentoring throughout the entire program.

This will make it possible to facilitate the integration of culture and talent projects by placing them in the context of the global brand experience within the scope of the digitalization project they will initiate.
