The American startup Humane has introduced a new gadget in the form of a clothing badge with elements of artificial intelligence that will replace a smartphone. It has been reported 9to5Mac.
It was noted that the device was introduced at the TED 2023 conference by former Apple designer Imran Chaudhry. The gadget runs on the Android mobile operating system and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip.
A new accessory is attached to the garment, such as a badge or order. It can also be held in the palm of your hand like a smartphone.
At the top is a miniature laser projector that creates a virtual image in the palm of your hand or any other surface. The resulting projection is square and displays text information in green.
The device also has a camera used to translate Chaudhry’s lines into a foreign language.
Audio input was activated by pressing the body of the device under the garment fabric. At the top is a special yellow light strip that lights up when the device’s microphone is activated.
Humane was founded by Apple Chief Software Officer Bethany Bongiorno and chief designer Imran Chaudhry.
Formerly the American company Augmental introduced the gadget It’s called MouthPad, which lets you control your computer using the language.
