American Errin Roden accidentally accepted an invitation to participate in a major tournament with a $250,000 prize pool in the mobile game Candy Crush and advanced to the semi-finals. Portal reports kotaku.

Roden is a 48-year-old mother of three who works for a penthouse company in Columbus, Ohio. His daughter tweeted about the incident. Apparently, Roden accidentally clicked on the Accept button when he received a pop-up notification, but paid no attention to it. He continued playing Candy Crush as usual, but soon learned that he had joined the Candy Crush Saga All Stars Tournament. At the same time, her rating was so high that the woman went straight to the semi-finals.

“I used to play a lot of video games. Then I switched to Candy Crush. I have Attention Deficit Disorder, so I always have to do ten things at once. The game helps me engage and focus my brain. I started playing about 10 years ago,” he said.

Later, Roden flew out of the tournament, but stated that he wasn’t sorry at all. According to him, he does not invest in the game, he prefers to watch advertisements when necessary.
