American company Augmental introduced A tool called MouthPad that lets you control your computer using your language. This is a special headpiece that is attached to the mouth and reacts to the movement of the tongue in the sky like a normal computer mouse.
The MouthPad works over Bluetooth and is compatible with Android, iOS and Android smartphones, as well as Windows, MacOS and Linux PCs. Inside the cover is a battery charged via USB Type-C. Its capacity is sufficient for 5 hours of operation.
The mouth guard is made of clear resin and is specially fitted to the chin. The manufacturer claims that the MouthPad does not prevent users from speaking.
The purpose of the gadget is to help people with disabilities who want to comfortably use modern technologies, as well as to facilitate working with multiple devices.
MouthPad supports a variety of language commands that replace mouse clicks and swipes.
The cost and release date of the device have not yet been announced. Those wishing to purchase the MouthPad should join the waiting list on the Augmental website.
