Apple CEO Tim Cook visited India to attend the opening of the country’s first Apple Store. It has been reported CNN.
The official point of sale for Apple devices opened in Mumbai on Tuesday, April 18. Tim Cook personally greeted the first customers. The entrepreneur is also expected to visit Delhi on Thursday, April 20, when the Apple Store will also open.
“India has such a beautiful culture and incredible energy. “We look forward to building our history together by supporting our customers, investing in local communities and working together for a better future,” said Tim Cook.
Over the past few years, Apple has been actively building relationships with a number of countries to gradually withdraw from China and diversify its production. The opening of the first Apple Stores is part of the company’s expansion strategy in India, where some iPhone smartphones are already assembled.
