Asus confirms imminent launch of ROG Ally portable console

Asus ROG profile on Twitter announced The upcoming release of the ROG Ally portable console, which the network is calling the “killer” Steam Deck.

The company also said in a statement that the device will be released earlier than expected. However, exact dates have not been announced. In the same post, North American residents are invited to subscribe to a console-related newsletter.

The Asus ROG Ally portable console was unveiled on April 1, so many mistook the announcement for an April Fools’ Day. But, as it turned out, the device really exists and even managed to be reviewed by popular bloggers.

The console is known to run Windows and is equipped with a 7-inch display with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. According to bloggers’ first impressions, ROG Ally performs twice as well as Steam Deck at 35W.

ROG Ally is expected to go on sale for $650 (about 53 thousand rubles).

Formerly socialbites.ca saidthat the new Sony Q Lite portable console will launch in November for around $200.
