SuperJob service research showed17% of Russians fear the development of artificial intelligence.
The main reason for fear of survey respondents is job loss due to automation. Lack of control over powerful computer systems and the threat of human degradation are also among the fears.
It is noted that fear of AI is more typical for women and people over the age of 45. Occupations that fear losing their jobs due to robots in the next 10 years include translators, tourism managers and waiters. Doctors, builders and teachers are the least exposed to this risk.
At the same time, 43% of Russians are not afraid of artificial intelligence. They believe that neural networks cannot replace humans and that artificial intelligence makes life and work easier. They also believe that progress cannot be stopped.
