Technology bloggers on the PhoneBuff channel have compared the battery life of Apple’s flagship smartphones iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. video posted on YouTube.
It is noted that by default, the S23 Ultra has a larger 5000 mAh battery compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a capacity of 4323 mAh.
“But Apple’s smartphone has the advantage of specially designed hardware and software,” the bloggers said.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display, while the S23 Ultra has a slightly larger 6.8-inch display. Each of the gadgets has a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. At the same time, the S23 Ultra has a slightly higher resolution of 1440×3088 compared to the 14 Pro Max, which has a resolution of 1290×2796.
In the test, the iPhone 14 Pro Max outperformed the S23 Ultra by 38 minutes. While Apple’s gadget worked for a total of 27 hours and 44 minutes, the Samsung device remained active for 27 hours and 6 minutes on a single charge.
“Yes, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is still the champion, but it was a very hard fight. The difference is only 6%. Each of these devices has absolutely no problem running on a single battery charge,” the bloggers from PhoneBuff concluded.
