Apple has recently experienced unprecedented employee turnover among executives. Agency reports Bloomberg.

Since July 2022, eleven top executives have left the company, most of them in vice president positions. In the company’s hierarchy, this is just one step below the senior vice presidents who report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Vice Presidents are among the most important figures in an organization, responsible for the day-to-day operations of a brand. Bloomberg notes that Apple has lost an average of one or two Vice Presidents a year in the past.

However, most of those who left the company last year were veterans – they’ve been at Apple for about 15 years and have the potential to be promoted to senior vice president in the future. According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, sources within the company warned him that this is just the beginning – over the next few years, Apple may drop a few more vice presidents.

As one of the possible reasons for the departure of the leaders, Gürman cites the company’s financial difficulties. In 2022, Apple stock has dropped almost 30% after three years of growth, which will clearly affect executive salaries.
