Kopin told Kommersant that by 2026 the products of the JSC Sovereign Mobile Initiative will be produced. The holding could take 10% of the Russian smartphone market.
Experts interviewed by journalists believe that Kalinin’s company may choose the Russian Aurora platform as the operating system for its smartphones due to possible difficulties with licensing Android from Google.
