Thousands of Amazon employees demand from CEO to return to remote working format PM

Amazon management is facing opposition from thousands of employees to its new corporate rules. In this respect informs CNBC edition.

Shortly after Amazon CEO Andy Jesse announced that starting May 2023, employees will be required to visit the company’s offices at least three times a week, white-collar employees began filing a petition against the new rules. Dissatisfied with the complete cancellation of remote work, employees began to unite on the protest channel of the Slack messenger.

According to CNBC, disgruntled workers are demanding that Andy Jesse cancel the introduction of the new rules. Employees object that canceling remote work against the will of thousands of people violates Amazon’s core principle of being the world’s best employer. As of February 22, the protest channel on Slack is said to have more than 14,000 subscribers.

CNBC writes that dissatisfied staff agreed to surrender to Amazon and work from the office for no more than one or two days a week. Employees argue that the regime change will disrupt their work-life balance and especially harm people who have to take care of their relatives.

Formerly socialbites.ca Wrote that hackers hacked the data centers of GDS Holdings and ST Telemedia Global Data, which store usernames and passwords of users of Amazon, Apple, Microsoft and other IT companies.
