Xiaomi has presented in India an affordable smartphone Poco C55 with a back cover that imitates a leather case. In this respect informs GSMArena portal.
The Poco C55 received a large 6.71-inch IPS display with a modest HD + resolution. The smartphone does not provide support for a high image refresh rate – this is the “standard” 60 Hz.
The main design feature of the Poco C55 is the use of a plastic smartphone case with leather imitation.
The novelty received a main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, complemented by a 5-megapixel front camera, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear panel also has a fingerprint scanner and Poco lettering.
Responsible for the performance of the device is a budget MediaTek Helio G85 chip, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage. Declared support for microSD memory cards up to 1 TB.
The Poco C55 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for slow charging by today’s standards with only 10 watts of power. Other features include dust and splash protection according to the IP52 standard, and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.
The novelty runs Android 12 with a custom shell MIUI 13 pre-installed.
The cost of the Poco C55 in India will be 9.5 thousand rupees (about 8.5 thousand rubles). It is not reported whether the device is available in Russia.
