According to the engineer, as a result of replacing the battery, he managed to remove the Lightning port and then solder USB-C in its place. Pillonel assured that the change in the case did not affect the operation of the AirPods Pro and that the headphones charge without any hitches.
The engineer explained that Apple did not design the AirPods Pro case to be opened. According to him, this process can cause damage in connection with the AirPods Pro having to replace the bottom case.
