Japanese company Aromajoin unveiled the Aroma Shooter Wearable at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023), which captures scents from movies, anime, TV shows, and video games. About informs PC Gamer version.
The gadget is a belted collar with the edges below the person’s face. Instead of gas or liquid, Aroma Shooter Wearable uses cartridges that contain some sort of “solid-state” flavoring to mix scents. The device sucks air, passes it through cartridges and releases it, along with aromatic impurities, directly onto the user’s face.
The cartridges are claimed to deliver scents more accurately and for longer, and also allow the device to switch between flavors in a fraction of a second. In total, Aroma Shooter Wearable, according to the manufacturer, is capable of producing more than 100 types of fragrances.
PC Gamer writes at the trade show that Aromajoin demonstrated the capabilities of the Aroma Shooter Wearable with a video featuring “busty anime girls.”
“I really don’t know what scents are associated with busty anime girls, but if I had to guess, I would choose a mix of lilac, vanilla, and embarrassment,” writes one PC Gamer writer.
