According to authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is developing an updated version of the iPad mini with a more powerful chip. About informs Macrumors portal.
Kuo pointed out that the main difference with the new iPad mini will be a more efficient chip, but it was not specified which. Most likely, it will be one of the versions of the Apple A17 or prolific M-series chipsets. According to the analyst, bulk deliveries of the new Apple tablet are expected in late 2023 or early 2024.
Kuo also added that Apple will not abandon the iPad mini in favor of an iPad with a foldable screen until at least 2025, because such a tablet would cost significantly more than the mini models.
