Apple laptop users experience slowdowns and loss of Wi-Fi connectivity. informs portal Tools 360.

It was noted that MacBook users with Apple M1 and M2 chips complained of poor quality, interruptions and complete disconnection from the internet. This error also causes the Apple Wireless Direct Link interface used by AirDrop and AirPlay services to not work.

The problem was faced mainly by large office workers and this does not occur at home. This is due to the heavy load on the Wi-Fi modules of the computers, due to the fact that all MacBooks and iMacs on the local network access each other.

Bug reports started coming in shortly after the macOS Ventura security patch was released, but macOS Monterey users were also affected by the issue. It was noted that Apple is currently working to fix the bug, but the release date of the patch has not been reported.
