The number of vulnerabilities in Apple devices has increased exponentially – 467% more detected in the period from June to December last year than in the first half of 2021. company reports Atlas VPN.
It is stated that cybercriminals managed to exploit 380 vulnerabilities on different devices such as iPhone and iPad. In the first half of last year there were only 67 of them.
Atlas VPN experts noted that the cloud data synchronization functionality helps the loopholes to spread – malicious code can freely pass from one gadget to another.
However, Apple technology is still safer than its competitors – the company took only third place. The largest number of vulnerabilities were found in Google – in the Chrome browser and in the Android mobile operating system. Second place goes to Microsoft.
