The action takes place in the alternative eighties, where it is not the police who solve crimes, but private companies and mercenaries. In the role of one of the detectives, players must find a serial killer.
Shadows of Doubt has two main features. First, a well-developed open world: the main character can enter all houses and apartments, the player chooses the way of passing. Second, the simulation of life: every NPC has a hobby, job and daily routine.
The gameplay fragment shows a quest where you have to find and shoot a person. The customer only provides general information: age, workplace, hair color, hobbies. To find evidence, the hero must illegally enter the office.
